DISCLAIMER

When completing an online booking, you will be asked if you agree to the following disclaimer:

1. It is my responsibility to know the whereabouts of my dog at all times during LWDT classes and events.

2. I am not aware of my dog ever biting or harming a person or another dog.

3. As an accredited member of the APDT UK, I respect that Laura will only allow non-aversive dog training techniques in her classes. As such, all handling and equipment used must comply with the APDT UK’s code of conduct.

4. I will keep my dog on the lead unless a trainer gives me permission to let them off lead.

5. I understand that if my dog is unwell or in season, I cannot bring them to training classes. However in these circumstances, LWDT allow owners to attend the class without their dog so that they do not miss the weekly learning.

6. I am aware that children are welcome at LWDT classes, but that under 16s must be supervised by a parent/guardian at all times.

7. I am aware that Laura Wyllie has the right to remove myself and/or my dog from classes if our behaviour is detrimental to either the learning or safety of others in the class.

8. I am aware that refunds will not being given unless under exceptional circumstances, and that is at Laura Wyllie’s discretion.

9. I am aware that LWDT reserve the right to alter or cancel bookings that are made for courses that are inappropriate for the dog.

10. I also agree that… Pet dogs should be fun!
     

Specific to Agility/Hoopers training
 

In addition to the above ten points...

1. I am aware that although I will be taught how to use the equipment safely, there is still risk of injury to myself and my dog due to dog and/or handler errors. I agree to accept this risk.

2. I will ensure my dog is fit and healthy enough to take part in Agility /Hoopers training. LWDT advise that you consult your vet.

3. I will ensure that I have control of my dog whilst we are on the farmland surrounding the training field.
